09-03-26 Well...it´s time for the next "birthdaydog".
Today we celebrate Goliat on his
4-yearsday! A biiiig congrats to you old
man and to all your sisters & brothers!
09-03-21 Not much happening here regarding
the dogs...unfortunately...At least this
week we have had a birthday party.
Zassi turned 5 this wednesday, and this
was celebrated with grinded meat and
dog chewies. We´d also like to
congratulate Zassis sisters & brothers on
this big day.
We´re trying to recharge our batteries to
go to the exhibition in Västerås (even if
the judge might not be on our side :-)
09-02-01 Sadly I have to disappoint all of you
who´s been waiting for a puppy from
Zassi this year. The reason??
Unfortunately we had a change in
owner at my work, and I got a 6 months
trial hiring :-( This mean that I cannot get
time off from work for puppies if I´d like to
keep my job. It´s been very stressful with
a bitch in heat with the intention to
mate at a suiting time. But hey...what do
you do? Sometimes you´ve got to
choose...
09-01-01 Wow, the time just flies... Another year
has passed again. If we´re to make a
summary of the passed year, we soon
find that the exhibitions have been very
few compared to what we´re used to.
We began the year with My Dog in
Gothenburg where Zassi was showed
and her last exhibition was in February.
After that we went for Oslo to meet the
fiance Linus. 62 days later our first litter
was born...consisting of only Maya!
Not so only...Maya is a heavenly bitch in
all kinds of ways. Incredibly cute and
she gets the attention of everyone
wherever she travel. At the veterinary
all of the staff came rushing to see the
little wonder. She is as cool as her mother.
But it hasn´t been all that joyful trip...
three sweaters chewed to pieces in a
couple of day, a couple of safety belts in
the car etc etc. But, as mentioned
earlier, she is very much like her mother:-)
We want to thank all of you who have
spoken to us and still keep in touch. All
of you who did reserve a puppy but
unfortunately couldn´t get one. All of
you who still wants a puppy after Zassi.
Lets´see what 2009 has to offer...

08-11-09 Today Maya has been to her first show.
We were in Enköping for the puppyshow.
The premiere was satisfying! Read more
under Showresults. Judge Sara Nordin
gave Maya a very nice judging.
This Friday our A-litter (consisting of
Maya :-) celebrated 6 months.
Unfortunately we will not be able to
attend the Big Stockholm show with
Zassi. That event collides with Bia´s
dance competition in Hallsberg...
08-09-23 Today we were on a photosession at
Björsund, a place a couple of kilometers
outside of Eskilstuna. It was such an
amazingly beautiful autumn day today.
Robinette assisted in holding Maya.
Maya is getting toothless, teeth are
flying all over :-) It´s going to be lovely
to get rid of all those deadly sharp teeth!
08-09-01 CONGRATS to Mayas dad Linus who
became Norwegian Champion this
Saturday! Linus was awarded 2:nd best
male plus CAC at the
Trondheimshow on Saturday. On Sun-
day he placed as 3:rd best male.
Champion 3 weeks after his 2:nd
birthday! Very well done Sigrid and Linus.
Maya is very proud of her father.
08-08-13 Wow...time flies and our website hasn´t
developed much. I guess it depends on
me, I have been taking it slow and have
not been visiting any shows recently. We
will return at full speed in the autumn.
Zassis coat is beginning to return and
Maya is getting bigger and bigger.
Unfortunately Maya did hurt her leg
during playing with Thimmy, but we are
hoping for a quick recovery! Maya and I
are desperately waiting for a chance to
be able to attend shows (or at least
I am ;-)
Maya is so utterly cute! I can see distinct
lines from both mother and father.
She has definitely inherited her mothers
rowdy behaviour, but I believe that
Maya in fact is A BIT calmer.
08-07-02 No time for rest. Maya is eating,
growing, eating, playing, growing...etc
etc. On Friday it´s time for the first visit to
the veterinary. Finally vaccination so she
will be able to go out and explore more
of the world. The 4:th deworming is also
coming up. All the dogs at home are
beginning to think that it´s getting a bit
too hot now. We would benefit from
bigger stairs with sand underneath,
´cause at the moment we´ve got three
dogs packed together in the same
square meter.
08-06-25 7 weeks old today...and Zassi is
transforming into a nude dog. Everybody
think that she´s become so skinny, but
it´s only Zassi´s usual enormous coat that
now flies around all over the garden.
Maya, on the other hand, seems to have
adapted all this coat instead. It looks like
she´s going to get as much coat as Zassi..
Maya is a go-ahead girl, not scared of
anything. She likes to widen her walks in
the garden, so she needs to be checked
all of the time...She´s a real rascal, and
the "small" body is full of mischief.
08-06-18 Well, not so much to write about...
You don´t think anything happens...but
that isn´t quite the truth. Things do
happen all the time. I guess there´s
nothing livelier than a puppy...sigh.
Full speed ahead all of the time! Maya
seems to have decided to become a
gardener when she grows up. She´s
pruning every bush, right after attacking
the childrens feet. The weight...well...
Micke has taken control over the
weighting process. It looks like it´s going
to take place in a bucket! Maya rushes
off the scale all the time, and the
complete construction just falls apart...
You can play with that too!
Daddy Linus attended a double-show
last weekend in Stavanger, he got the
certificate and became BOB both of
the days. Congratulations!
08-06-12 5 weeks...where do the time go? Maya
is on her way to become house-trained.
It is much better do relieve oneself
outdoors than indoors. This is the luxury
with having just one puppy, much
easier to run outside with one puppy in
need than ten of them.
Last weekend daddy Linus was in
Denmark attending the Danish
pyrenéean-special. He got a Danish
certificate, Congratulations!!
Todays weight isn´t that exact, Maya´s
body tends to forth over the edges of
the scale. It just isn´t enough any longer.
08-06-04 How tough can it be to get a 4-week
old puppy to stand up nice and proper
for that extra ordinary photo shot??
It must be utopian...
After a very playful photosession and a
couple of sore fingers, the result was still
not satisfactory...but we´ll have to be
content with that. See more under
"puppies".
Maya has become acquainted with the
lovely life outdoors. The first encounter
with Mother earth was mostly in a state
of chock...later to change into
something really playful. You can find
so much interesting to chew on
outdoors. She takes on the food with
great appetite, a couple of soaked
puppy-pellets every day...yummy...
08-05-29 Three weeks...and the weight is aiming
for the stars! Tiny Maya is becoming big
Maya. A name is decided, read more
under Puppies. The first deworming has
been made. Maya has also been
presented to some parts of the world
outside of the puppybox. Her mother
Zassi isn´t that delighted that her little
baby should be able to find new paths
on the outside, she wants her puppy
inside the puppybox so she knows where
she´s got her (even if she´s not herself so
interested in staying there all of the
time).
08-05-22 Two weeks old...and the weight
still increases with over 100 gram/day!
Can´t help but wondering where this will
end. Last weekend she opened her eyes
and now she is examining the puppybox
on her unsteady legs. There´s still some
problem to get the hindlegs to follow,
but with the aid of a carpet she gets up
on all four legs.
Still the best thing is to suck from Zassi,
which constantly shows at her increasing
weight!
Today it´s time for the first deworming.
08-05-14 Wow, time flies. To be a single puppy
means that you do not have to fight
with a lot of siblings at the dinner table.
You get the best of the best all to
yourself.
The weight increases with over 100
gram/day. You almost get worried that
she will burst.
The puppy is being very well cared for by
the mother Zassi. All the care that should
easily cover 10 puppies now all ends up
at this one puppy = wet and clean in the
backside all the time. The worlds most
clean puppy!
08-05-09 They are here...or to be more correct...
SHE is here. Because there only were one
puppy. What should be at least three
puppies turned out to be "just" one.
Really sad for all of you who were waiting
for your puppy. Everything worked out
fine except the fact that we really were
expecting more puppies to follow.
We had to drive to the veterinary in the
middle of the night to make sure that
there were no more puppies on the way.
All of our family are really exhausted due
to a looong night this Wednesday that
didn´t have to be that long now that
we know the result. But...we are really
pleased with the one adorable puppy
that we actually got. You will soon be
able to read more under Puppies.
08-05-06 It´s getting close now... Zassi is digging
and digging... She thinks that she has
found a much better place to have her
puppies...outside, under the stairs
(Zassis favourite place). One could say
that we do not totally agree in this
matter :-)
All we have to do now is wait...
There will be a couple of cousins born
during this week too, in Canada!
Linus brother Logan is the father.
08-04-23 Time just flies. There are only two weeks
left before the puppies will be here,
and now the puppybox is in place.
Zassi is a real monster:-) She´s stealing
food right in front of us, totally
unscrupulous. It doesn´t matter if her
own bowl is full of food. The grass is
always greener on the other side, so
our food is high-priority. The childrens
left-over sandwiches from breakfast
disappears into her stomach before you
even get a chance to say no. We don´t
even have to turn away from her! But...
...we are greatful that she´s eating, she´s
been eating well all this time.
08-04-13 Yesterday Linus were showed at the
exhibition in Stavanger in front of
judge Wilhelmine van Deijl
(the Netherlands). Linus was awarded
BOB and received his 9:th certificate!
The judge gave Linus very good
criticism which you read more about at
his website. The judge has experience
from breeding pyrenéeans, so she knows
the breed like her own backyard.
Today Linus was showed again in
Stavanger. Once again he was
awarded BOB and got his 10:th
certificate!! To top it all he also was
nominated BIS-4!!! Big hugs to our father
to be and his mistress Sigrid!!
08-04-07 Today we have been to the pet clinic for
an ultrasound with Zassi. There were a
couple of small and cute "Zassies" and
"Linusies" kicking in the belly. At this stage
in time they mostly looked like small
frogs :-) Sooo cute!
Now we´re eagerly looking forward to
the beginning of May! Half the period of
gestation is due, and the mother to be is
doing just fine. She is in GREAT need of
being stroked and hugged, and we
don´t mind assisting her in that.
08-03-29 It´s been a while since the latest news.
It all depends on me starting a new job,
which got me working almost 24h/day.
We all congratulate Zassi who
celebrated her 4th birthday the 18th of
March, and Goliat who celebrated his
3rd birthday the 26th of March.
Happy Birthday to you both!
We are scheduling an ultrasound
examination for the coming week and
are now eager for the outcome...
08-03-07 At last we got to go to Norway for the
planned mating. Everything went well
in the end, and now all four of us are
really exhausted. Zassi and I have for
these two days been driving 900 km,
and Linus and Sigrid had to drive a total
of 1200 km! Zassi slept lika a log on the
way home.
We keep our fingers crossed that we will
have a couple of cute "furballs" arriving
at the time around the 8th of May.
08-02-27 We have finally gotten the results for
Linus hips. The official result is:
Hips A/A. Perfect in other words!
We´re really grateful for that.
Now we will start the planning for our
trip to Norway, it looks like it will take
place in a couple of days.
08-02-25 Ok, now we have been to our last
exhibition for the season...we hope...
We showed Zassi at SBHK:s show in
Norberg.
Unfortunately Zassi wasn´t in her best
exhibition-mood, she´d rather look for
attractive male dogs, but she ended up
as 3:rd best bitch.
We are ending the season with an
honourful 2:nd place in the Dog of the
Year-list for bitches. Not bad!
Now we are fully concentrated and
excited about the upcoming mating.
08-02-14 Changed puppy-plans! We have
decided to mate Zassi with another
male than originally planned.
We have found a combination that we
believe will match Zassi better.
The male we´ve chosen is a happy
Norwegian boy, who has charmed
everybody (also included the judges in
the showrings).
"Cubilon´s Linus Laineux" (Linus) is a
charmer in every way. He loves
everything and everyone, both
2-legged and 4-legged creatures (and
they love him back).
Linus became the 7:th most winning
male pyrenéean in Norway in 2007!
Not bad considering he´s only been
officially showed since May (before that
he was showed as a puppy).
We´re expecting big-boned, well
constructed puppies with a lot of coat
(since both of these dogs have those
qualities). These will become the most
adorable puppies, suited for families with
both children and other dogs. They will
also be well suited for exhibitions, for
those who are intersted in that part.
The in-breed level will be 0,5 %.

08-01-06 We have now been to the
traditional exhibition "My Dog" in
Gothenburg.
This Friday we showed Zassi for the
Netherland Judge, Rony Doedijns.
He placed Zassi third best bitch.
This Saturday it was time for the
Swedish Winner Show and there we met
the Swedish judge, Nils Molin. He placed
Zassi fourth best bitch. You can read
more under "Showresults".
Zassi enjoyed our trip to Gothenburg
(except the showrings off course) but
she enjoys even more to come home
to the snow again. It was quite green
in Gothenburg.
She is now a very, very tired girl...
but playing around with Goliat in
the enclosed pasture seems quite alright.
07-12-28 Now the Christmas is over. Unfortu-
nately we couldn´t enjoy the show in
Stockholm. Instead we are now looking
forward to the show in
Gothenburg 4-5 January.
07-11-01 We are planning puppies for
the summer 2008.
